Your use of this website is subject to the Terms and Conditions below, our Privacy Policy and any other laws or regulations which apply to this website. If you do not accept these Terms or Privacy Policy, you must refrain from using our website.

Each customer will be required to agree with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to completing an order. By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, a customer is agreeing to waiver all responsibility of any third party payment gateway or service.

The below Terms and Conditions applies to Collectable Aircraft Wings Australia (referred to as “our”, “us”, “we”, “CAWA”) and explains our Terms and Conditions of Sale which is a legally binding contract. If you do not accept or agree with our terms you must refrain from using our website.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions of Sale:

We reserve the right to amend any of the below information without notification. It is recommended that customers purchasing from our website read both the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to placing an order. We also advise this practice for return customers.

Pricing & Quotations:

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. International customers will see the GST amount deducted from the final amount at checkout.

Prices do not include shipping (unless otherwise stated in the product description and/or title). The option of shipping must be selected at the checkout as the rate for each individual item may vary depending on location.

If the price of any product you order was incorrectly displayed on our website, we will provide you with an opportunity to place an order at the correct price assuming such product is available.

Payment Methods:

We accept payment via a selection of options, including Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) or PayPal.

  • Credit/Debit Card: We accept payment via all major Credit or Debit Cards including American Express, MasterCard & Visa. All card payments are processed through a secure SSL and use a ‘3D Secure’ process to prevent fraud. We do not impose a surcharge or fee for using a Credit or Debit Cards.
  • PayPal: Only customers with verified PayPal accounts (i.e., a username and password) are permitted to process payment via PayPal online. Credit/Debit Card or eCheques payments are not accepted by our PayPal.
  • PayPal Pay In 4: Pay in 4 is PayPal’s buy now, pay later instalment solution. Just choose Pay in 4 at the PayPal processing page and split the cost of your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. For more information, please refer to PayPal’s website.

Pre-Orders:

Pre-Orders allow customers to order and pay for newly announced or proposed items which are not yet in-stock or manufactured. Only items with the stock status of “Pre-Order” can be purchased online and will require the customer to complete full payment prior to a Pre-Order being submitted successfully.

Manufactures/brands only release a limited number of units worldwide per release or announcement. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that products ordered will be received. If your order is cancelled due to short supply a full refund will be issued to the customer.

Price and ETAs displayed for Pre-Order items are estimations only and are subject to change without notice. It is advised that customers regularly check the item page for updates to ensure they are conscious of the latest revisions (if any) for the ordered item(s). Delivery times for some items have been known to exceed twelve months or more and is commonplace in the market.

Pre-Order cancellations initiated by the customer will automatically incur a 25% cancellation fee. This fee, under no circumstances, will not be waivered. To avoid such cancellation fee the amount of the order can be requested to be placed into credit for purchases at a later date.

Special Orders:

If you are looking for a rare or older model that is not stocked on our website, please feel free to contact us via our online Special Order form. For us to assist in potentially sourcing the item(s) you request, we will require the following information:

  • Scale (e.g. 1/400 or 1/200)
  • Aircraft Type (e.g. A380-800, B777-300)
  • Model Brand/Manufacturer (e.g. JC Wings, InFlight 200)

Once your request has been sent, please allow approximately five working days for one of our team to respond to your request.

If we are able to source the requested item(s) for you, we shall contact you regarding cost and to confirm whether the model in question is correct. If we are however unable to source the items(s) for you, we may offer a similar alternative (e.g. different brand, registration etc..). If you are satisfied and wish to proceed, please allow a minimum of 3-4 weeks for the requested item(s) to arrive into stock.

All Special Orders, once confirmed and agreed to, require upfront payment prior to an order being placed with our supplier. If for any reason the requested item(s) do not arrive in-stock from our supplier, a full refund will be provided via the original payment method used at time of ordering.

We do not accept cancellation or returns for Special Order item(s) and all Special Orders are non-refundable (unless the item does not arrive in-stock or is received damaged from our supplier). All Special Orders will be shipped to the customer’s supplied address via Australia Post which includes tracking and insurance (where applicable).

Items may also be listed on our website with the stock status of “Special Order” and will appear in your cart as a “Back-order”.
Items listed with the stock status of “Special Order” are not in-stock and will follow the terms identical to that of “Pre-Orders”.

Address and Contact Information:

It is important that any new or existing customer ensures their address and/or contact information is up to date to alleviate any delays in us handling their order. This includes, correctly spelt names, street addresses, house/unit numbers, P.O. Box numbers, post/zip codes, contact phone numbers and e-mail addresses.

Shipping, Handling & Insurance:

We endeavor to ship all in-stock orders within one business day of confirmed payment. Orders with pending payments will not be shipped until full payment has been received. During peak-times or busy retail events, orders may take approximately three business days to be shipped. If your order will require longer than three business days to be shipped we will let you know a revised estimate for dispatch as soon as possible.

Orders which contain multiple items will be shipped as one combined parcel once payment for all transactions has been received. Orders which include a combination of in-stock and pre-order products will be dispatched once all items are available/in-stock.

Comprehensive domestic and international shipping is available on all orders using Australia Post, DHL Express or FedEx. Services offered by these providers may vary depending on region and are subject to change without notice. Available shipping providers and costs to your region will be displayed for the items in your cart during checkout.

  • Domestic Shipping (Australia): Domestic shipping is available exclusively via Australia Post’s Parcel Post and Express Post services and includes full tracking as well as insurance up to $100AUD. If your order is over $100AUD and you wish to insure your order for the full value, please contact us before making payment for pricing. Signature on Delivery is also available at an extra charge and can be selected during checkout where applicable.
  • International Shipping (Worldwide): International shipping is calculated depending on region and is dispatched via Australia Post’s Regular & Express Air Mail services which includes full tracking. International services via DHL Express and/or FedEx may be offered to your region and will be displayed during checkout if available. International postage charges do not include insurance or signature on delivery, however options for adding insurance and signature on delivery are available. Please contact us if insurance or signature on delivery is required as rates vary depending on the destination country and value of the item(s) purchased.
  • Taxes, Duties, and Import Charges: Depending on the country or state an item is dispatched to, your purchase may be subject, but not limited to Taxes, Duties and/or Charges imposed by the destination country or state. Unless otherwise stated, such charges are not included in the item or postage price, however, may be charged/collected at checkout where we are required to by regulation. Collectable Aircraft Wings Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for any Taxes, Duties, Customs or Import charges. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to make their own enquiries relating to their country or states legislation concerning imports.
  • Delivery Timeframes and Delays: Delivery estimations both domestic and international are a guide only and do not take into consideration current local or international network delays, weather impacts or government-imposed health regulations. Buyers should make their own enquiries as to any current delays or restrictions in their region which may affect delivery.

Free Shipping (Australia and New Zealand):

Free shipping is offered to customers shipping to a valid metro address in Australia or New Zealand and with a cart total of more than $350.00AUD. Remote or rural locations in Australia or New Zealand may be excluded from this offer, and if so applicable postage charges will be displayed at checkout for your order.

All orders eligible for free shipping will be dispatched via Australia Post’s Parcel Post service within Australia or Australia Post’s Standard Air Mail service to New Zealand.

Cancellation of Orders: 

We may, at our discretion, and without prior notice to you, cancel an order where insufficient stock is available due to damage, error or short supply. We also reserve the right at any time to reject, cancel or terminate any order without reason or notice.

Any confirmed order may be cancelled by the customer for a applicable re-stocking fee of 25%, and providing the requested order has not been dispatched/shipped. If an order has already dispatched/shipped, we are unable to accept a cancellation.

Returns:

Collectable Aircraft Wings Australia does not accept returns, nor are we obligated to, where, but not limited to; an item has been ordered in error, is not suitable, does not meet expectations or due to change of mind. We also do not accept returns for items in exchange or credit.

In the unlikely event an item is damaged or broken during transit, Collectable Aircraft Wings Australia will assist the customer in the Australia Post claim process. All damage must be reported within forty-eight hours of receipt of goods from the postal carrier. All return postage charges are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed.

Unauthorized Usage:

Linking to the website without the prior written permission of Collectable Aircraft Wings Australia is prohibited. If you desire to link to our website, you may send us an email requesting such permission. CAWA may in its discretion deny or revoke any permission it may give to link to the website at any time and without any notice or liability.

Framing, mirroring, scraping or data-mining of our website or any of its content in any form and by any means is prohibited. You may not use any collaborative browsing or display technologies in connection with your use of the website or to post comments or any other information of any kind to or on the website that would be visible to any other users.

Manufacturer Faults: 

We have implemented stringent procedures to ensure our items are fault and damage free. The following are considered “Manufacturer Faults or Defects” and have been outlined below. We will not be liable for such.

General Manufacturing Faults or Defects: 

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Scratches less than 1.5cm (~0.6in) in length and/or width,
  • Damage that cannot be observed by the naked eye (e.g., without the use of zoom or professional lighting),
  • Loose attachments, including control surfaces (e.g., wings, elevators, and tailplanes) landing gear, and engines.

Paint or Decal Faults:

Includes, but not limited to: 

  • Paint or decal smudges,
  • Chrome blemishes,
  • Corrosion,
  • Incorrect decals or colours, including decal positions, registrations, identifiers or aircraft names.

All items dispatched are checked prior to shipment to ensure that the above are not apparent. All items are digitally marked to avoid fraudulent claims of damage.
